A key partner of ours, a prominent climate tech company, is expanding their operations in Bulgaria and is looking for a passionate Python developer to be part of their growing team!
Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure development: Develop and maintain our backend API. This will include building new endpoints and functionality for our data API, improving database query efficiency, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.
- Database management: Develop and maintain our central database. This will include maintaining our ETL pipeline and building out our schema as the scope of data we collect continues to grow.
- Analyst support: Support our data analysts to input data into our database. This involves ongoing development and maintenance of our internal admin panel.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years of working experience.
- Experience in Python and PostgreSQL.
- Experience using Django and/or DBT.
- A passion for addressing the climate crisis through high quality research and data.
- Experience with AWS (ECS, RDS, CloudFormation).
- Experience with CI/CD Pipelines.
- Experience working with Jira / Agile framework.
- Passion for unit testing, documentation, and high quality code.
- Interest in working for a fast-moving startup with a small, international team.
- Solid written and verbal English communication skills.
